I am Hadi Keshavarzi, a student at ECO College of Insurance, affiliated to the Allameh Tabatabai University and also translator of the economic page of the Tehran Times.

I had the pleasure of joining the Tehran Times in the summer and so far I have had a pleasant time working with the staff.

As an Iranian, I wish a happy New Year to all countrymen all over the world and hope for a day that we come together again in our motherland, Iran.

Although I have occasionally thought back about the previous year, I have not had the chance to carefully reflect upon it until now. But as a whole, it was the strangest year of my life. Also it was really good, because I found a few good friends. And what is more precious than a knowledgeable friend?

Unfortunately, what I'm not very much satisfied with is me, myself. A year has passed and yet I am in the same place. Also, the demise of the fathers of some of our kind colleagues deeply saddened all of us.
